Rachel Davies

TEACHER OF PIANO AND SINGING (CONTEMPORARY AND MUSIC THEATRE SPECIALIST)

"I have been blessed to have a life filled with music from a young age. I can remember being entirely fascinated by my Nana’s old piano, and soon after I was 7, it was hijacked and I named it my own. It was after my very first piano lesson that my love affair with the piano began. It wasn’t long after that, I began to have singing lessons in an aspiration to be like my childhood idol, Delta Goodrem."

From my early teens, Rachel became enchanted by the world of musical theatre and her passion for singing  blossomed when she received her first leading role as Dorothy in ‘The Wiz’. From then on, there was nothing that could stop her from wanting to be on the musical theatre stage. In 2012, Rachel began study at the Regional Institute of the Performing Arts for an Advanced Diploma of Arts (Acting). During this time, she was also offered a singing role in vocal trio, "The Jumpin’ Jukebox Trio", who primarily perform rock ‘n’ roll.

"The past 2 years especially have been a huge learning curve and I am beyond excited to be able to share my passion for music through teaching and performing."
